GURI Regional Rankings
Explore university performance across the world's major higher education regions.
Each regional table is a filtered view of the GURI 2026 Global Composite Ranking. Scores, component scores and global ranks are reproduced exactly as published globally; a regional rank simply reflects an institution's position among the universities of that region. No separate regional methodology, normalisation or bonus is applied.
Methodology note
GURI Regional Rankings are derived from the GURI Global Composite Ranking. Institutions retain their official Global Composite Score and are ranked relative to other eligible universities within the defined region. Regional rankings therefore provide a geographic perspective on global institutional performance rather than a separate scoring methodology.
Regional classifications may overlap where an institution meets more than one recognized geographic or regional definition. An institution may therefore appear simultaneously in the Arab Region and Asia, or in the Arab Region and Africa.
